Mama's T-block Quilt

At 17 I joined the Navy in order to get the opportunities that weren't available to me in my rural Oklahoma community. I saw a lot of the world, met my hubby of 32 years, and settled in NC. We've raised our children without the blessings of family living nearby & I have few regrets. I do miss my parents. We call often & visit as often as possible, but as time flies by I value each visit we are able to have. This last June we were heading home to Oklahoma for a visit & I realized I had a quilt for my two sisters, but nothing for my Mom. I had a week to work on something & noticed the T-block tutorial. It seemed quick & easy. I finished this T-block quilt for my Mom in less than a week & she says its's currently on her bed. A little bit of me when I'm not there.
