Kerry's 60th Birthday Quilt

I made this quilt for my best friend of 48 years for her 60th birthday. She is bright, happy and busy so is this quilt. Kerry is very sporty and played volleyball for Australia in her teens and early twenties. She has coached girls volleyball ever since. She is a PE teacher in high school, has two grown daughters and a beautiful granddaughter. The hexis on the back remind me of flowers bouquets, which I think she deserves plenty of for being a fabulous wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, coach and loyal teacher. I did straight line grid quilting as she is straight forward and doesn't like fuss. I really hope she likes this quilt as it is made with love.
