Framed Four Patch

This started out as a MSQC Daily Deal that had colors to go with my bedroom and butterflies... My bedroom used to be a "Butterfly" room when the nieces were young and spent the night. I wanted it big enough for a full/queen bed, and so played with several sashing idemas and blocks, but knew I wanted something quick that would build my skills. After seeing how repetitive the prints are, I wanted to break up the layer cake squares, without too much piecing. I am still finishing the rows and hope to add the border and then begin quilting it soon. I am considering a wavy border to soften the boxiness. I haven't decided whether I want to stick with the straight lines and just stitch in the ditch, do some echo line quilting, or something else like a diamond design in each square or attempt FMQ. I am leaning away from FMQ because I lack experience and want to practice on smaller projects first.
