Boro? Kantha? Coasters

I enjoy handwork in the evening. I'm also on a quest to use up some tiny pieces of fabric in a useful way. It was rewarding and soothing to work on these four coasters. My take on Boro or perhaps Kantha. I had no plan for these but just let my needle lead the way.
