Bow Tie quilt for Carla

I commissioned a friend to knit a toque (beanie) for me. She refused payment, even for the lovely yarn she used. She had also given me 4 yards of beautiful flannel. I thought fair payment would be a cute bow tie quilt for her three month old grandson. I reached deep into the scrap bag and stash for solids and prints that I could cut 3 1/2 and 2 1/2 inch squares from and used some of the fun scull flannel. I liked the resulting cheerful quilt and was happy to make a tiny dent in my stash. I had found the pattern on Pinterest.
