Improv Squares

I was searching through my fabric bins, looking for another half finished project, when I ran across this small project made of batiks and a mix of creams, tans and beiges. I vaguely remember working on it over a year ago but can't remember what my plan for it was. I bordered the piece with cute elephant fabric and backed it in flannel and voila, another 36 in x 36 in quilt for the NICU ward and Vancouver Womens Hospital.
