Hawaiian Memory

I made this batik quilt for a dear friend of the family. This person taught 4th grade with my Mom for years and they enjoyed travel and crafts together outside of their teaching. We shared a trip to Hawaii back in 1977. I made this quilt for her now that she is an adult facility in remembrance of that wonderful experience we shared many years ago.
