State Fair Quilt

Used a pattern from Sentimental Stitches and modified it a bit. We like Jinny Beyer Fabric and wanted to create a quilt using her Galaxy colorway, but do it in a way that the colors moved from light to dark (top left to lower right). WE really appreciate how all the colors blended well and think this may be our best quilting effort. The "shark tooth" border was a bit time consuming, but it retains the original quilt design vibe. Using the darker red border combined with the white (white/red/white) on the inside border and (red/white/red) on the outside really brought the entire project together and made the quilt queen size. The corner blacks are from Amy Garro at 13 spools.
