Destiny's Quilt

My granddaughter Destiny spends a week with me in the summers. She has seen the quilts I make and is very interested in learning to sew. We visited a local merchant who carries wonderful fabric. She selected the pattern and fabric for her own quilt. She had to return home before we could work on it but I promised she would have the finished quilt before the end of the year. I was able to keep my promise! This is the first time I had a quilt custom quilted and I think it came out nicely. With each quilt I make, I gain confidence and love it even more!
