Tribute to Judy's Courage

I made this quilt for our granddaughter who has cystic fibrosis and had a double lung transplant a few months ago. It is a tribute to her courage battling the disease through long hospitalizations and illnesses from birth on for 17 years and the 10-hour transplant surgery to get new lungs. She kept up with all her school work through all the years and graduated with her high school class this year, and is going to college this fall--with her quilt.
