Mug Rug Junkie

I LOVE ❤️ making mug rugs. I watched Jenny's video awhile ago and made my first one. Time past, ogot involved with other projects, gifts, etc...but still loved my Mug Rug. Last month I watched the video again and followed along and made a bunch for my lanai. Now it is the holidays and I'm putting my stuff out and sick of looking at the old doilies!! Screw it...I'm tired of making for everyone else and I'm always on the back burner. Go to my Christmas bin of material and start whipping out Christmas mug rugs. I knew I was only going to use under Christmas decorations and not to put hot food on. I had pieces of fleece I used to make a tree skirt with last year. I just took the fleece sewed it together to make them large enough for mug rug. I used NO fleece in between and sewed away. THey are soft, adorable and once you finish quilting you can't even see the seam on back where I sewed piece together! I love them. And while I was at it, I cut up some material and made a bunch of quick envelope pillow covers and covered all my couch pillows in the Christmas fabric. I am very happy!
