Scrappy Squares a la Bonni K Hunter

I started making the scrappy squares using a free pattern from Bonni K Hunter @http://quiltville.com/. When I put them together, however, the quilt was too busy for my liking, so the squares just sat. One day I decided to raid my stash and see what the squares would look like interspersed with plain squares, and voila! I could use all the squares I had made in various colors and fabric from my stash and have a smallish throw for my MIL, whose favorite color is blue. Again, this was machine quilted on my home sewing machine.
