Ist grandchild..1st quilt

The mumma to be wanted elephant's, squares and grey and mint colours. I found a pattern "Elephant and I". So using the morning sun shining through my kitchen window I traced all the pattern pieces. It took a while. Then watching lots of youtube clips i pieced it. Started Jan 2018 finished 24th November 2018. Quilted professionally by was Jemina's Quilt store in Victoria Australia. Then sewing the binding on in the waiting room whilst mum to be was in labour. Dad to be kept me up to date.
