Polly Quilt

When my 14 year old dog Polly was diagnosed with cancer I decided to involve myself, and her, in a project. I decided to make a quilt about her and our travels together. It was my very first quilt and I had no idea about what I was doing. We went to the fabric store, bought a bunch of fabrics and I started cutting and piecing. I found quilt squares with pictures of places we've been together and I found printable fabric to put pictures of her on to include in the quilt. That was a year ago and now I have fallen in love with quilting and have completed 9 other quilts. Little miss Polly is still hanging in there with me and she sleeps on that first quilt all the time.
