Ribbon Star Quilt

My daughter gave me a layer cake for Christmas and it took me awhile to decide what to make from the fabric. I was surprised at how easy this was to make. I think the colors will make it a nice Christmas quilt. I followed a Missouri Star Quilt pattern and tutorial for this quilt. The only changes I made were to make the sashing burgundy rather than white. I also followed a MSQC tutorial for flange binding and included a picture of the binding. I was happy with how it turned out; it was a quick, pretty way to machine stitch a binding.
