Star Table Topper or Wall Hanging

This table topper or wall hanging was based on the Missouri Star pattern called Winter Star. The original pattern was blue and white and consisted of 8 “A” blocks and 8 “B” blocks. I didn’t have enough contrast in the layer cake I was using to make 16 blocks, so I ended up with 9 blocks. I added sashing and a border to increase the size. I used 3 “B” blocks and placed them in the middle row and 6 “A” blocks on the top and bottom rows.
