Stonehenge Squares

I was commissioned by a friend to make a quilt for her sister's 60th birthday. We were negotiating color and pattern, and I went down the neutral/sage green road, and it wasn't working for either of us. Then she proposed purple and red, and I dug this gorgeous StoneHenge fabric from my stash. Found a very simple pattern in a quilt magazine, found more Stonehenge coordinates in the stash ( bought for some long forgotten project) and away we went! Used a quilting pattern I developed for another modern quilt. Best news? They all love it!
