Shrek

This quilt is named "Shrek" because it is "broken, but still good" . The story begins with my very first quilting retreat. My own sewing machine was in for service and I borrowed my daughters machine. These blocks were to be created for a charity quilt. Many of us were to create these according to pattern. It was only after I completed my little pile that I figured out they were not the right size. The problem was that although I always keep a 1/4 inch foot on my own machine my daughter does not. All my blocks were just a little too small...but still good. So I changed the foot, created a correct pile for the charity quilt and brought these home...broken, but still good.
