Disappearing hourglass 2

I watched Jenny's tutorial and decided to try this fun block. I used 8 inch squares cut from my stash instead of 10. This made the cornerstone embellishments VERY small. I had fun choosing the fabric, layout and quilting design. Used pieced navy and white minky on the back. Quilted continuous curve for most of the body of the quilt, serpentine lines in the small border and free motion feathers in the outer border. This is so not perfect but I am pleased with it overall. This baby quilt is for my cousin's boy and his bride who are expecting their much anticipated first baby.
