Wedding Quilt

I made this quilt for my daughter and her new husband. I used Sew Kind of Wonderful's Metro Lattice pattern, except I used 10 inch squares of fabric instead of pinwheel blocks. The color palette was taken from the colors worn by the bridesmaids, mother of the bride, mother of the groom, and grandmother of the bride. The rings are the same color as her wedding dress. The colors of the bridesmaids dresses were difficult to match, so I had to use prints which belong in different time periods. I went to every fabric store within 30 miles of my house to find the right colors. I pieced the back with the leftover fabric, and I designed it so that the seams from the front would not match up with any of the seams on the backside. They went to Alaska on their honeymoon, so that's why I have that panel in the center. I used SewWhatPro to create the label. The font is called Segoe Script.
