Confection Batiks Sawtooth Star Quilt

**Update: 1-29-22 Quilting is done! The quilting design is called “Whirls”, done in a dark green thread. So happy with the results! **This is only my second batiks quilt. (First one, went to my Grandson) I choose Confection Bitiks, by Kate Spain. I love star quilts, so I decided to make the Sawtooth Star. It was so fun to make, and the blocks made up quickly. I made 20 squares total. They are 19.5” squared. They are layed out, 4 squares across, and 5 down. To make this quilt, I purchased one layered cake, and two jelly rolls. For the backing, I choose Moda Grunge, “Pool”. It is an aqua color, with a lime green in it. Matches the collection nicely. 10-11-21
