Scrappy Dashing Stars

( 11-7-22 Just picked this quilt up from my longarm quilter. So happy with the results. I decided to use a pale yellow thread, and a tulip design for the quilting.)I was watching the most recent “Triple Play” with Jenny, Natalie, and Misty, and decided to make Jenny’s “Scrappy Dashing Stars” quilt. I chose Buttercup and Slate fabric by Corey Yoder. The nine stars are made out of a jelly roll with white background. I did a 2” white inner border, the 2” scrappy border, a second 2” white border, then the final outer border, which I cut at 5.5”. My backing is also in the collection, with a tiny tulip print. I will be taking it to my long arm quilter this week. (10-17-22)
