Summer and Sunshine

I made this quilt for an old friends daughter who is disabled. She lives in the north east where winters are long and cold. I wanted her to have a little sunshine in her life everyday. It is one of the easiest quilts I have ever made but one of my favorites. I think it's purpose is what makes it so special.
