Highland Hearts

I made this quilt for my youngest granddaughter when she was 7 years old. Her favorite color was purple. Years previous I had purchased a Daily Deal from MSQ called Highland Jewels which had beautiful purples and teals and cats. It was perfect. I baked it with Tula Pink's Freefall in purple. I had seen Jenny's Cheerio Quilt and decided to try it with hearts. I had it quilted by a local quilter as I was afraid my little home machine could not handle all the applique layers. It was gifted for Christmas 2016.
