Leaf Shapes for Zeke

Little Jonathan, Esther and soon to be Zeke have two quilts based on my tenure in a Montessori Classroom. I made the Geometry Cabinet quilt when Esther was on the way, and now I've added to their collection with the Botany Cabinet. This is one of the many sensorial materials that the children are introduced to in the Children's House. From matching, to tracing, to taking outside and finding actual plants that have the leaf shape your looking for, the Botany Cabinet lends itself to many multidisciplinary uses through the years.
