Multiplication Checkerboard (A Montessori Material

I taught lower elementary (6-9 year olds) in a Montessori school in NC for years. One of my favorite math materials was the Checkerboard. My first graders would love getting it out and using the bead bars, multiple big numbers to get even bigger numbers. I can't wait for my grandson to have his first lessons!
