quilted coasters

This is how I started! My friend who goes camping with me brought along some scraps and taught me paper piecing in a pineapple design. We used interfacing as our foundation and leave it right inside the finished product. From here I developed up into hot pads! I piece these coasters entirely on my 100+ year old treadle machine.
