Strip N Twist Quilt

This is my first really big quilt that I did with the help of a template called Strip N Twist from Nancy's Notions. I bought the fabric at her warehouse sale and only live about 60 miles away from Beaver Dam where her warehouse is. I went to a class by Joan Gaska to learn free motion quilting and did the vines of leaves in all the sashings after I took her class. I pieced this quilt entirely on my 100+ year old treadle machine. Then I use the "quilt-as-you-go" free motion method on my Janome, rather than sending out a quilt top to someone to quilt for me.
