Wedding Quilt

I made this quilt for a work colleague made from a collection of pieces of fabric given to her by her friends at her wedding, and I paired it up with Kaffe Fasset fabrics to increase the size, bringing in a wide border, using some of her own fabric for the corner pieces. The wedding was next to a beautiful river, so tried to reflect the movement of the water in the quilt her for. I had watched the Diamond Dance Tutorial which inspired me, and saw a picture of a Kaffe Fasset quilt which inspired me in how to bring the whole collection of fabrics together.
