Joyful Hearts

One of the young couples in our small group at church were expecting a baby in March 2016 only the little one decided to make her grand entrance 12 weeks early. I didn't get her quilt finished before she was born but she is doing well, gaining weight and should get to come home from the hospital next month! Yay!! The quilt was made from my stash FQs and yardage with a scrappy binding and bright floral backing. It measures 39.5 inches square after washing it. I FMQ it on my domestic machine. It's labeled, bound and done! I'm happy with how it turned out. If I use this design again I might add a different color sashing and cornerstones. It went together very quick and easy!
