Quilt of Valor

sometime in 2012 a friend gave me a box of fabric she had received from her daughter in Kentucky. It contained many red,white and blue scraps. Not wanting to waste them I put them together in a quilt. about that time I heard about Quilts of Valor. I needed to make it of a certain size so I added the blue border. I also made a label and a presentation case. I also wrote a story of the quilt that was sent with it for the recipient. I hope it has brought a measure of happiness..
