Firefly Baby Quilt
A friends daughter is having a baby any day now. I wanted to make a baby quilt as the friend has done a lot for my mum and making a quilt for her daughters baby is my way of saying thanks. They don't want to know the sex of the baby so it was a little harder to choose colours, almost as hard as choosing a pattern. I decided on Elizabeth Hartman's Francis Firefly. I love it, but I don't think I managed to sew Francis, so instead I have Frankie, Freddie and Francis. It is an easy pattern, but does need 100% concentration, so perhaps trying to complete 1 Firefly before going to work each day was not my best idea.
