First quilt I made

My mother in law quilted and I always hinted for a quilt. My hints were not fruitful so I decided to try myself. I bought a sewing machine, my first and taught myself to use it then chose a pattern and struggled through the learning process. I also hand quilted this quilt. It took me a while but I was pleased with my results.
