Konachrome 63

This is my second quilt. My first was made on a borrowed machine. My husband saw how much fun I was having and took the money he was saving for a new computer for his photography work, he is an avid armature photographer, and bought me a sewing machine. I just had to make the first quilt from new machine for him! The name of the quilt is a play on the name of a popular film called kodachrome 64. The fabric colors are mostly from kona hence the slight change in name and the number 63 has a special significance for my husband. I haven't counted the colors but I hope there are at least 63. The back is in black,grey and white for a different "film" type. the photo is a little green because the setting sun was shining through the trees.
