Missouri Star Baby Quilt

I wanted to try some new techniques and new FMQ in this baby quilt with an elephant applique. I chose the Missouri Star as the quilt pattern from Jenny's tutorial and I couldn't resist the flange binding from another of Jenny's awesome tutorials. The mother-to-be was thrilled. I chose colors from the nursery and embroidered the baby's name at the bottom. I am really happy with it and enjoyed learning new techniques!
