Courthouse Steps
I chose this pattern “Courthouse Steps” as a wedding gift for a couple living on the outskirts of Philadelphia with two young daughters. One of the fabrics, from the Old Sturbridge Village collection by Julie Rothermel for Marcus Fabrics, is appropriately titled “1830-1860 School Dresses.” I tied my pieces together, all from earlier projects, with a Kona Cotton roll-up in Parchment. The backing and binding is “Timeless” a bias check in rust, 108"w, by Jo Morton for Moda Fabrics. I especially love the longarm pattern using Superior Threads “King Tut #991 Sahara Shadows.”
