Denim Broken Bars

This quilt is a variation of MSQC's Broken Bars pattern / tutorial. The denim is recycled, mainly from dresses and shirts, so it is a bit softer than jean denim. The bars are quilting scraps. The nine and a half inch denim squares made a nice canvas for playing with free motion quilting and thread painting.
