Simple Christmas Totes
I love Missouri Star Quilt Company and Jenny Doan's tutorials! When I saw the one for making 3 totes from one charm pack I knew I wanted to make them for family and friends for Christmas. So much fun and really easy and fast, a must around here! I modified one tote to make it a little smaller by cutting the middle squares in half and reducing the bottom panel to 5 1/2". I used a fat quarter to first cut two 4" strips lengthwise and proceeded as directed and then cut the bottom panel to length. I used fabric from my stash for the lining. Using the fat quarter for handles also makes the handles shorter which is what I wanted.
