A walk in the Woods

The appliqued leaves were added as an afterthought, made from the leftover fabrics, to accent the fall panel. I fell in love with this yardage in the store when I saw it. I feel like I could just walk off into this quilt, I can hear the rustle of the leaves, feel the breeze and smell fall in the air. I can almost hear the little creek babble as it winds it's way through the forest back there somewhere.
