Spider-Man Quilt

When he was about 3 or 4, my youngest son was convinced he was Spider-Man. He had many of the plastic Spider-Man toys and Spider-Man clothing. When we would drive around town in the trusty minivan he would refer to me as “Spider-Man’s Mom” and ask me to keep an eye out for bad guys. Together we would crusade for justice and he would narrate these exciting stories where we would be capturing bad guys left and right. When we would pull into the driveway after a long day of crime stopping, he would tell me, “Good job, Spider-Man’s Mom, I’m very proud of you.” He was so serious when he gave me that compliment, I was all I could do to keep from laughing. Well, fast forward more than 20 years, and after many adventures and laughs along the way, Spider-Man’s Mom learned to make quilts. I was very happy to get this done in time for Christmas this year!
