Vests with Trinkets

Years ago, I started this little wall hanging and almost finished it before being frustrated with trying to embroider little coat hangers. I tossed it in a drawer and forgot about it. 2015 comes along and the opportunity to go on a week long quilt retreat made me want to sharpen my skills so I wouldn't look foolish with the other quilters. I suddenly found that I love quilting! Part of the reason is a new sewing machine - a Singer One with an automatic needle threader. I went on a binge of finishing old projects and was very happy to finish this one. Each vest opens and has an inside pocket with a tiny trinket on a little thread.
