From the Heart - Tula Pink

I got this quilt kit, which included Tula Pink's Slow and Steady fabrics for Christmas 2016. It was my first time doing appliqué, and was a bit overwhelmed at the size of it. I broke down the steps into pieces and used MS Project software as a way for me to pace myself and plan out all the steps. I also sent this out for long arm quilting. My first time using their services and am happy with the final product. I did misplace one heart cutout and found it after the top was assembled. I used it with some backing fabric to make a throw pillow. My basset hound, Eeyore, promptly walked on it, rubbed his face on it and claimed it as his own.
