T Shirt Memory Quilt

This quilt is for a friend's Dad. He had moved from Arkansas to Alaska, and his children wanted him to have a nice warm quilt from his shirts from softball tournaments. It was a bit scary when I realized that these shirts were all from the mid 1990's! She called me long distance from Alaska to tell me that he was so overwhelmed when he opened the package that he began to cry. It's a very simple quilt, as they requested, but still challenging due to the different weights and age of the shirts.
