Scarlet's Nine Patch

A simple Nine Patch set on point is the pattern for this special quilt. Our granddaughter was born four years ago with HLHS a heart condition that can sometimes be treated with surgery but that was not the case for our Scarlet. Her only chance of survival was a heart transplant so many prayers were said as I stitched hearts into this quilt. At 3 1/2 months a heart brought life to Scarlet and she is now a beautiful four year old. Lots of love and prayers in this quilt.
