Birds in Air

This was the second quilt I pieced. Started 5 years ago. Not happy with the piecing and almost threw it away. A friend talked me into keeping it and using it for practice. The verticle, horizontal and diagonal lines were "stich in the ditch" with a walking foot. Most of the triangles were FMQ freehand, others I tried different methods of marking the quilt. So glad I didn't throw it away.
