Irma's Beanstalks
Quilt no.18! I just finished this last night, taking my mind off all the hurricane Irma talk. Heading up to this super storm I had to name it after her. It's the Beanstalks pattern from the book "Quilts from the house of Tula Pink". I needed something that had method to the madness but didn't need super precise cutting and piecing. The backing is a simple white dot with scraps of the stalks pieced together (I had so many left - not sure if the amounts in the pattern are as accurate). Husband asked if they are meant to be train tracks :D I like the wonkiness and colors but ready for a more traditional pattern next!
