New Mommy's Quilt

I met a gentleman who wanted a custom made quilt to give his wife celebrating the pending birth of their first child, a little girl. After many conversations and a meeting or two we came up with this pattern. He wanted some personalization so I added cornerstones with sentiments special to him. To make it extra cozy I put soft flannel on the back, perfect for the cold northeast winter nights. The day I called him to tell him it was finished, he was at the hospital, his daughter having arrived a couple weeks early! A few weeks later he picked up the quilt and surprised his wife and I was thrilled to hear she absolutely loved it.
