Johan's Horsie

Our youngest grandson was born during the "Year of the Horse." Since his brother received a dragon quilt for "Year of the Dragon," I looked for an image for a quilt for his brother, simplified it and made the appliqué. The blocks were from Pam and Nicky Lintott's book, "Jelly Roll Quilts," the "Twin Stars" pattern. Fabrics were scraps given me by friends and background fabric was left over from another quilt. 2014
