Peggy's Pine Burr

I found this pattern in McCall's Quilting May/June 2012 and decided I wanted to make a version of it. It involved paper piecing, and I wasn't really ready for it yet, so I practiced the technique on some other quilts first. I like scrappy, even for backgrounds, and so my quilt turned out very different from the original version in the magazine.
