Stars of Yesterday

I have always loved old and antique quilts. I saw many at antique shows, but couldn't afford the really nice ones. While visitng my mother-in-law in San Diego, I stopped in at a quilt shop, where I saw some reproduction fabric that inspired this quilt. It took me a while to design the quilt, trying to mimic the look of quilts from the 19th century. I chose the Ohio Star block with a border of Flying Geese. It's machine-pieced and hand-quilted.
